Welcome to our Blog
Hello my friends!!
We are students of the second level of Childhood Education. We study the cognitive, emotional, social and sexual development of children. Also, the autonomy, the habits and the routines. We organise activities for children, such as songs, stories, games,... in English and Spanish.
In this blog, we offer interactive resources in English to use with children. Furthermore, we will prepare some group dynamics and we will also deal with some interesting English speaking countries festivities and customs, such as Halloween, Christmas Holiday, Valentines Day, Easter and Father´s Day and Mother´s Day.
Thank you very much for visiting our blog.

MLK's Day
Who was MLK Jr? What do you know about him?
Click on this link and find out why Americans across the US celebrate
the national holiday that honors the life and work of Martin Luther King Junior.
I was wondering if you could make an interactive presentation as good as the one below. Which topic would you choose for the preschool stage?

It's that Time of the School Year Again ;-(
Yes, exams. I'm sorry.
Try to focus on what you'll get after so much effort and pain.
I happened to come across by pure chance with this presentation about EFFORT and what it takes to succeed.
Another cute presentation comes now. Will some cultural shifts in our fast changing world have an impact on our learning as educators? How can we start thinking differently about the learning process?

English for Little Children
This is a really good Spanish website meant to teach English as a foreign language.
‘English for Little Children’ is excellent for children to learn basic English vocabulary. It is very appealing to young children because it is attractive and very interactive. There are 2 levels, one for the younger classes and another for slightly older children.

The Tree
I would like you, dear students, to see this tree-device as a metaphor of your learning process.
Visit this link to find out what the tree is about.
The tree is a helpful unifying device linking theory and practice. The BRANCHES represent what the student needs to learn, the TRUNK represents what the student brings with them to the learning context and the ROOTS represent the theories to be considered in teaching.
